Special Traffic Arrangements 🚦 and Notes in Tao Fong Shan during the Ching Ming Festival 2026

During the implementation of the special traffic arrangements at Tao Fong Shan from 28 March to 12 April 2026, appropriate traffic signs will be put up and Police Officers will be on-site to guide the public. Actual implementation of and adjustments to road closures and traffic control will be made by the Police at the time depending on conditions in the areas. Any vehicle found illegally parked near the above areas may be towed away by the Police without prior notice.


(i) From 9am to 5pm on 28-29 March 2026, 3-7 and 11-12 April 2026 (total 9 days), To Fung Shan Road (to the north of its junction with Pak Lok Path) will be closed to all vehicles (except emergency vehicles, vehicles of Tao Fong Shan residents and staff).


(ii) From 9am to 5pm on 28-29 March 2026, 3-7 and 11-12 April 2026 (total 9 days), the section of To Fung Shan Road between Chung Ling Road and Pak Lok Path will be temporarily converted into one-lane two-way traffic. During this period, Pak Lok Path will not be open to the public, including vehicles and pedestrians.


(iii) From 9am to 5pm daily on 28-29 March 2026, 3-7 and 11-12 April 2026 (total 9 days), the section of To Fung Shan Road north of its junction with Pak Lok Path (except for emergency vehicles and vehicles serving residents and persons working in To Fung Shan) will be closed to all vehicular traffic. Therefore, grave sweepers visiting Tao Fong Shan Christian Cemetery are advised to take note of the following:


  1. During the special traffic arrangement, please avoid driving or taking taxi to Tao Fong Shan directly.


  2. You can visit the Cemetery by walk or take the shuttle bus between Tai Wai and the Cemetery on designated days (28 March and 4-5 April 2026).


  3. Please refer to the following link for the schedule of shuttle bus (for family members of To Fung Shan Christian Cemetery only).

  4. During the special traffic arrangement, all vehicles (except emergency vehicles, vehicles occupied by residents of To Fung Shan and workers at To Fung Shan) can only reach the roundabout at the junction of To Fung Shan Road and Pak Lok Trail and turn back.


  5. Pedestrians are advised to travel between MTR Sha Tin Station and the cemetery via Pai Tau Village and To Fung Shan Road (Northern Section).
