According to the latest traffic notice released by the Transport Department and notification from the Pristine Villa Customer Service Office, special traffic arrangements will be implemented at To Fong Shan during the 2026 Chung Yeung Festival. Details are as follows:

(1) Road Closure:

From 9.00 am to 5.00 pm daily on 11, 17, 18, 19, 24 and 25 October 2026, the northern section of To Fung Shan Road from its junction with Pak Lok Path will be closed to all vehicular traffic (except for emergency vehicles and vehicles serving residents and persons working in Tao Fong Shan).  During this period, Pak Lok Path, which is a private road inside Pristine Villa, will not be open to vehicles and pedestrians who are not residents of Pristine Villa.

(2) Traffic Direction:

From 9.00 am to 5.00 pm daily on 11, 17, 18, 19, 24 and 25 October 2026, the section of To Fung Shan Road between Chung Ling Road and Pak Lok Path will be converted into one-lane two-way traffic.

Therefore, grave-sweepers visiting the Tao Fong Shan Christian Cemetery are requested to note the following:

  1. Avoid driving or taking public transport directly to the cemetery during the period of special traffic arrangements.

  2. On designated dates (11, 17, and 18 October), visitors can take the shuttle bus running between Tai Wai and the cemetery, or travel to and from the cemetery on foot.

  3. For the shuttle bus timetable (exclusive for family members of those buried at Tao Fong Shan Christian Cemetery), please refer to the following link:

  4. During the special traffic arrangements, all vehicles (except for emergency vehicles, To Fong Shan residents, and vehicles carrying To Fong Shan staff) can only drive as far as the roundabout at the junction of To Fong Shan Road and Pak Lok Path before they must turn back.

  5. Pedestrians are advised to walk via Pai Tau Village and To Fong Shan Road (North Section) to travel between MTR Sha Tin Station and the cemetery, and should avoid using [the closed/restricted routes].

  6. The Police and Pristine Villa will set up temporary roadblocks and traffic signs on-site to guide the public. Road closures and traffic control measures will be implemented and adjusted depending on the actual situation at the time. The Police may tow away vehicles illegally parked near the above locations without prior notice.
